How I Work
My three year degree training encompassed developmental, psychodynamic, gestalt and humanistic perspectives. This means that I am able to fit my counselling approach to your individual needs. My work is relational which means that I understand the importance of our relationship. I take time to understand how you are feeling and learn what your life is like for you as we explore what has brought you to counselling. I strive to create a trustworthy relationship which will enable you to open up and get the most out of the session.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP) and I abide by the BACP ethical guidelines. These guidelines are available on the BACP website for you to look through.
